the past month has brought me so many roller coaster days, today included. i got some really bad news this morning only to spend the afternoon laughing with my best friend over an unexpected skype session. all i can do is keep my eye on the prize (thesis, graduation, and a handful of happiness).
so, i'm taking a note from j.d. salinger: “An artist's only concern is to shoot for some kind of perfection, and on his own terms, not anyone else's”, and i'm focusing on making perfect pieces for my thesis.
